Quintessential Baldacci

It is nice to see Mr B return to form. Book 2 was not his greatest effort in the Vega Jane series, this made up for it.
Unfortunately, before I knew it the book had ended and...sigh...we have to wait for the next installment.
I KNOW she will triumph but the how escapes me. That is Mr B's magic, the 'how' of this triumph.
We await your articulation of the 'how'...please just make it soon...

Great imagination

The settings, characters and language was very imaginative. I love the characters and can hardly believe a writer is so successful in such diverse genres.

Vega Jane prepares for battle

She met people living under spells with their minds reprogrammed. There were many atrocities. She also learned about her ancestors. But the biggest truth is that she would lead in a battle for survival against the Mattadons a fierce, strong and cruel group of sir errors.
